A message dated April 24, 2000, was read stating the Senate has                
passed HB 272 with the following amendment and it is transmitted for           
consideration:                                                                 
                                                                               
SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 272(RLS)                                         
"An Act relating to the tax assessment by a home rule or general              
law municipality of housing that qualifies for the low-income                  
housing credit under the Internal Revenue Code; and providing for              
an effective date."
